As a fuel producer, the refinery is has a critical function in Norway. We have high focus on continuity in our operations.

Based on  the  recent developments of Covid-19 and the recommendations of Norwegian health authorities, the management at Esso refinery at Slagen has introduced a number of measures to limit infection and protect critical parts of the organization.

This work will continue in the near future. Our Emergency Response Group have been activated to monitor the situation and our operation.
Contingency plans have been prepared, including identification of solutions that can be implemented as required.
